From 2019 to 2022, Murdock has performed with the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra and the Verde Valley Sinfonietta. Prior to her studies at the NAU, she performed in the AMEA Regional and All-State Orchestras, Youth Symphony of the Southwest, and various ensembles in high school. As a registered Suzuki teacher in Every Child Can and Units 1-4, Murdock taught private lessons and group classes through NAU’s Community Music and Dance Academy to students ages 5-18. During summers, she supplements her musical studies by attending music festivals such as Brevard Music Center for their College Orchestral Institute and Idyllwild Arts summer program. Murdock is passionate about teaching the violin to students of all ages and is grateful to be a part of her student’s violin journeys, wherever their passions lead them.
