Jun Yun

A native of South Korea, Jun Yun completed his bachelor’s degree with full scholarship at the University of Ulsan in 2021, studying with Professor Taejin Kim. He later earned his master’s degree at the University of Oregon under Professor Alexandre Dossin. During his undergraduate years, he performed in numerous piano festivals with the USP Orchestra and the Ulsan Junggu Orchestra, and won first prizes in multiple competitions in South Korea.

Since joining the University of Oregon, Jun has continued to distinguish himself in competitions, including winning the 2022 University of Oregon Concerto/Aria Competition and the 2022 Eugene Symphony Guild Young Artist Competition (Senior Division). He also received an Honorable Mention at the 2022 Los Angeles International Liszt Competition (Division X) and 1st Prize in the 2025 MTNA–Stecher and Horowitz Two-Piano Competition.

Jun is currently pursuing his Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance under the guidance of Dr. Alexandre Dossin at the University of Oregon.
